One skill that every Business School Student and Businessperson should possess is leadership. Great leadership qualities are a key to success and allow people to be able to take charge of situations to ultimately get the job done. No matter what field you are in, having good leadership skills is critical to your success.  "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, you are a leader." —John Quincy Adams     To be a great leader, you must feel good about yourself ! Developing the Leader in you to live your highest life, then, requires a process of unlearning by self-remembering and self-honoring. Being an effective leader again will require you to be brave and unlock the door to your inner attic, where your childhood dreams lie, going inside to the heart.     

 DISCOVER THE YOU Who are you and why are you here? It may seem like a straightforward question. Most would answer by giving their name without giving it much thought. However, on deeper reflection, do you really understand who you are? Our true identity, then, lies within us, not outside of us. We should define who we are based on our thoughts, our values, principles and beliefs. It’s okay to have material things and all, but they should not be our sense of self. They are just things that are there to make our lives easier. If you were suddenly homeless today that would not change who you are as a person. You would still be you. Look within yourself, not without. For everything begins and ends with your thoughts. Sidney J. Harris adds that “Ninety percent of the world's woe comes from people not knowing themselves, their abilities, their frailties, and even their real virtues. Most of us go almost all the way through life as complete strangers to ourselves.”...

Discover thy self ; Self examination is the key to Insight, which is the key to wisdom. Self awareness is the greatest agent for change.    One of the most basic lessons you learn in first year business school is the SWOT analysis - strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. And it's a great framework to apply to your business to understand what you do well, what you can improve on, and where the greatest threats to your company lie. But how about a SWOT analysis on ourselves? Where are your blind spots? What do you struggle with? I explained the clear framework to do Insight on the potentials. It was an excellent opportunity to be working with Redington for READ Project. Employablity Training program started at AVVM SRI PUSHPAM COLLEGE (Autonomous) located at Poondi, Thanjavur district from Dec 19, 2016 and completed successfully on Mar 17, 2017. 325 Students from various academic domain participated in the continuous training session. Students were trained with Basic English Grammar, Soft skills and Career oriented employability programs.  At the end of the session, there was a remarkable proactive behavioral change noticed among  the students. Students were started getting placement on the recruitment programs and campus interviews.               Master of Computer Applications students of AVVM Sri Pushpam College, Poondi - Thanjavur were participated in the career oriented interaction session "Fostering Professional Development" which held on 17 March, 2017 at the college campus.  Subjects covered on the training session :  Resume Building  Career Planning Group Discussion Interview Techniques  Grooming Skills  Students were involved with discussion about the Career planning, Knowledge management, Professional development that targets individual needs, fosters and develops specific talents, skill sets, areas of interest and expertise.
