AVVM Sri Pushpam College Elite Smart Learning Center held a mock interview for its nearly 100 career preparedness training students on 26 th Dec 2017. The exercise which took in the Smart Class room, served as the culminating project of the Redington employment skills CSR Project. Redington Trainer Mr.S. Manikandan arranged the Mock Interview Session to provide an opportunity to practice for an interview and receive feedback. Interview expert assessor Mr.S. Saravanan, Associate Professor of Gnanam School of Business said “This is how they kind of get a real world experience of an interview without the stress of getting this job.” Interview expert assessor Mr.V. “ANGLO ” English Gala Event For many English language learners, speaking is the most difficult part of the language to master. To improve speaking and listening skills of the students collectively encouraging learning interest on English Redington Foundation ELITE Smart Learning Center Thanjavur organised Anglo – English gala programme on 08.12.2017(Friday) at AVVM Sri Pushpam College, Poondi - Thanjavur. It was merely an art, music and play based form presented fantastic opportunities for the students to have discussions, focused language work and skill based activities. There is considerable  scientific evidence  that demonstrates how music help second language learners acquire grammar and vocabulary and improve spelling. Songs and music almost always contain a lot of useful vocabulary, phrases and expressions. It was an excellent opportunity to be working with Redington for READ Project. Employablity Training program started at AVVM SRI PUSHPAM COLLEGE (Autonomous) located at Poondi, Thanjavur district from Dec 19, 2016 and completed successfully on Mar 17, 2017. 325 Students from various academic domain participated in the continuous training session. Students were trained with Basic English Grammar, Soft skills and Career oriented employability programs.  At the end of the session, there was a remarkable proactive behavioral change noticed among  the students. Students were started getting placement on the recruitment programs and campus interviews.
