Guest lectured session on the topic "Learning preferences of Gen Z" to various faculties from Arts and Engineering background.  CEDREC (GSB) organised this Faculty Development Program on "Passionate Approaches to Teaching and Developing Receptive Teaching Methodologies".      This strong affinity for and usage of interactive e-technology is having effects on learning behaviors of Generation Z. Research has noted that this generation does not respond well to lectures and have become accustomed to interactivity. They prefer to watch a video rather than listen to a lecture to understand different concepts.   They like to learn through simulations and virtual situations where they can interact with their surroundings and learn at their own pace, with a constant feedback system.  As against the traditional approach of learning ‘just-in-case’, they would prefer to use pertinent information and knowledge that is dependent on what a p...
