Be Mindful, Be Heartful and Be Empowered Training Session for Healthcare Professionals

Being patient centric means listening to patients and anticipating their needs. Being empathetic to patients psychological and emotional needs goes a long way toward helping patients better manage their condition. Nursing staff members often witness first-hand the anxiety, dependence and fear patients feel when undergoing treatment. This puts nurses under a lot of emotional stress. A trained, empathetic nurse is key to healthcare delivery. “Be Mindful, Be Heartful and Be Empowered” program offered by Yukthy for Health and Education, has helped nurses developing their skills for effective patient management and enhanced service orientation. The program sensitizes participants about the true goals of nursing, and the importance of the jobs they perform. Nurses, allied health workers, admin staff members of Dr.G.Viswanathan Hospital, Trichy participated in our Training program. Participants attended for Personal/professional development reasons, Skill improvement and Assistance in dealing with colleagues and senior staff in the demanding health system environment.
