Empowering Innovation: “Nimirndhu Nil” E-Cell Coordinators Workshop at Pudukkottai District

The Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute of Tamil Nadu (EDII-TN) successfully organized the “Nimirndhu Nil” E-Cell Coordinators Workshop for the Pudukkottai District on 24th October 2025 (Friday) at H.H. The Rajah’s College, Pudukkottai.

This workshop aimed to strengthen the Entrepreneurship Cells (E-Cells) across colleges in the region by equipping coordinators with leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship development skills.

Welcome Address

The session was warmly opened by Dr. M. Karuppiah, Hub Coordinator, EDII-TN & Assistant Professor, H.H. The Rajah’s College, who highlighted the importance of nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets among students and fostering institutional collaboration for innovation.

Inaugural Address

Dr. B. Buvaneswari, Principal of H.H. The Rajah’s College, delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the critical role of E-Cells in shaping the future of Tamil Nadu’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Resource Person Session

The workshop’s key session was conducted by Mr. S. Manikandan, Chief Manager – DVARA KGFS, Madurai; HR | Learning & OD Professional; and Master Trainer at EDII-TN.

Mr. Manikandan shared valuable insights on leadership development, effective coordination of E-Cell activities, and strategies to engage students in entrepreneurial initiatives. His session blended practical experience with motivational guidance, empowering coordinators to create impact-driven entrepreneurship cells in their respective institutions.

Vote of Thanks

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. G. Abraham Lincoln, District Programme Manager, EDII-TN, Pudukkottai, who appreciated the efforts of all coordinators and participants for making the program a success.
